The Planar ARCTIC 4D-12 Portable Heaters are self-contained, forced-air diesel heaters that come in rugged, water-resistant cases. Designed for heating enclosed spaces such as ground tents, RTT, tactical shelters & tents, command posts, medical stations, guard posts, etc.

Operates on JP-8, diesel, or kerosene and 12V DC or 110/240V AC electrical power.
Note: Electrical power is used only to run the fuel pump and blower fan.Equipped with a silencer and air intake filter.
The attached 2-gallon fuel tank allows for 14-50 hours of operation.
Capable of high-altitude operation at 9,800 ft and higher.
No exhaust gases/carbon monoxide are mixed with the heated air.
The ignition source is kept outside of the heated space for additional safety.
Does not require regular maintenance.
Operates at extreme temperatures: -50°F ( -45.5°C)
